The Louet Jane Table Loom has been designed after consultation with weavers, at the same time using successful techniques from its predecessor, the Kombo. There is no cord wear, since cords run over rollers and the overhead beater stays out of the way when throwing the shuttle. The loom is made of lacquered beech and has a built in raddle.
The Jane Table Loom is partially assembled (except for Jane 90) and delivered with the following:
- Stainless steel reed 10 DPI
- Texsolv heddles 205mm: Jane 50-8 400 (4 bundles), Jane 70-8 600 (6 bundles), Jane 90-8 800 (8 bundles), Jane 50-16 800 (8 bundles), Jane 70-16 1200 (12 bundles), Jane 90-16 1600 (16 bundles)
- 16 warp sticks
- 2 apron bars
- 2 lease sticks
The Jane Table Loom is available in two versions: 8 shafts (expandable to 16 shafts) or straight with 16 shafts. This is a unique feature for table looms with 16 shafts. The Jane is the most compact 8+ shaft table loom on the market that folds easily.
