Shimmer Scarf Kit

It’s subtle, it’s striped and it’s as soft as a cloud. This plain weave scarf pulls elements of ripples on water and the subtle glisten of sun rays catching the waves.

Cramming triple warp ends creates vertical lines to add dimension to this delightfully soft scarf without any fancy loom requirements. 

The Shimmer Scarf is designed using Ravine yarn (50% Alpaca 50% Merino Wool). Ravine is a luxuriously soft alpaca-merino wool line designed in our studio specifically for weavers. The softest of Alpaca from the Peruvian highlands is custom blended with a non-super wash merino wool.

Difficulty: Beginner

Loom: Rigid heddle or two shaft loom, weaving width 12.2" or wider

Reed/Heddle: You’ll need a reed/heddle at least 12.1” wide, 8 ends per inch
